A general dissolution of the principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy. — Samuel Adams
Obomba starts new battles in his war against the lower, working and middle classes. Yes, he’s better than the Republicans, but significantly better? Maybe that’s why Election 2012 will show his re-election and both houses of Congress strongly Republican.
Leadership we need:
And nobody yet has, nobody yet has explained to the American public what they know, and surely they know more than the rest of us know who it is who will be taking the place of Mubarak and no, not, not real enthused about what it is that that’s being done on a national level and from DC in regards to understanding all the situation there in Egypt. And, in these areas that are so volatile right now, because obviously it’s not just Egypt but the other countries too where we are seeing uprisings, we know that now more than ever, we need strength and sound mind there in the White House. We need to know what it is that America stands for so we know who it is that America will stand with. And, we do not have all that information yet. — President Palin.
It’s not just Beloved Leader who’s ignorant, if not worse. The whole party signs off to idiocy like this, and the corrupted Big media enables it.
This is really inexcuseable; when the Big Media die, no one who matters will be left to care…:
Looking over the guest lists for all of the Sunday shows, viewers will see two Republican senators (McCain, Graham), three Republican House members (Boehner, Ryan, Schilling), three likely Republican presidential candidates (Barbour, Gingrich, Pawlenty) … and zero Democrats from Congress or the Obama administration. A thought: Gabrielle Giffords has a great healthcare plan.
Huffington Post as an outpost for liberals had a necessarily limited lifespan as the sole constant in Huffington’s career has been the narcissism and lack of any other consistency. She gets offered a big pay-out and she’s happy to sell out. The woman has always been principle-free. There was never any reason to think she changed.
How Big Media fails. Sharon Waxman, ex-New York Times, can only compete with Nikki Finke’s Deadline: Hollywood by obsessing with Finke personally. Her site never is close to DH in quality. Therefore, to her it’s a significant scoop when someone runs a purported photo of Finke. She does nothing to confirm whether it’s genuine then gets all pissy when it proves to be photo of someone else entirely. The moral is that if Waxman is at all typical of the quality of reporter at the Times, then a) the Times is screwed and b) Big Media journalism (that is when not copying Fox News) is doomed at all. Pathetic.
We relied on cards in the spokes instead of this:
