Those who are free of resentful thoughts surely find peace. — Buddha
I am a little hungover and not at all surprised: The Big Media Journos fuck up again.
I suppose Obama is an improvement over this. Or maybe he just hasn’t had the opportunity yet.
Worse to come: The ARM meltdown will be huge and it hasn’t hit yet.
What I’ve been saying about health reform: No public option = no reform. Or worse. (More here and here.) And maybe the House plan isn’t quite good but only sucks much less than the Senate’s? The possible obit for reform is here. I suppose the questions are: Is this the battle where Obama sows he has balls? Does he even truly give a shit about health reform or is it just another line of shit? Of course, it would have done wonders for Detroit and other industries and businesses destroyed by the unfair disadvantage they had compared to foreign businesses but clearly the establishment doesn’t care. Again, does Obama? (This is what he would do if did care.) And the people — you know, voters, citizens — want a public option. And here’s something else necessary that Obama won’t produce.
This would be cool:
Another triumph of gratuitous debt. Really, is there any justification for crap like this other a big payday cashout for management? I mean, really, what does it do for the company?
Yet again, all these people are completely crazy with nothing redeeming. Same for these.
In a normal world, this (joke is here) would get much larger play in the MSM that Palin/Letterman (and of course if Bristol wasn’t the poster girl for unplanned teen pregnancies, the joke would never have been made in the first place).
Sen. Ensign: Fallout from the mortgage crises?
More on Froomkin. The relevance is that it says so awfully much about the way MSM works.
